You are likely to have experience as a product manager, offering manager or service line manager working with a cloud infrastructure provider, managed service provider or IT service provider. Your experience will include the planning, development, introduction and lifecycle management of one or more of the following: Cloud infrastructure and platform services (CIPS, IaaS, PaaS), or Consulting, implementation, integration or runtime services associated with these, or SaaS implementation on top of cloud infrastructure (sometimes known as SaaSOps). Industry cloud implementations (for specific sectors) You will work with a collaborative team of highly experienced analysts and advisors to build authoritative research and advice that directly addresses the priorities and challenges of cloud service provider clients. This Includes Serving as an authority on the technology market, buyer behavior, and local market implications (regulatory, compliance) that affect the way cloud services are delivered across Europe. Creating “how to” research and advice on best and emerging practices for product managers to deliver their cloud IT service offerings to market. Supporting our sales and client service teams in delivering insight to clients and prospects. Presenting on cloud services research and related thought leadership in one to one and one to many forums, including client presentations and Gartner events Spearheading thought leading research on the evolving role of the cloud IT services offering manager, including the interplay with product management and product marketing, and the dynamic between regional operations and global operations. Job Requirements Demonstrable experience managing a product, offering or service line for a cloud IT service provider, with sufficient time in the role to have taken a solution through the full product lifecycle (from conception to retirement or refresh). Deep understanding of the IaaS, PaaS or Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services markets, the strengths of the hyperscalers, and the competitive landscape for adjunct IT services. An emphasis on the business of delivering cloud offerings to market, rather than deep technical architectural experience. So demonstrable commercial acumen gained through business planning, business case development, internal funding requests or P&L responsibility for a product line is highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Candidate should have demonstrated expertise in advising executives on their mission critical priorities Strong knowledge of business, technology, channel & go-to-market conditions in Europe. Demonstrated ability to work in a self-motivated manner but within a collaborative team environment. Additional European language skills are a strong plus for this role Who are we?
