About The Department The Commercial department is the heart of commercial activity for the Avios currency, incorporating partnerships (air and non-air), business development, commercial operations, B2C Avios customer pricing and Product (collection). The department is responsible for developing, maintaining and growing commercial performance benefiting customers, IAG Loyalty and IAG. The products We're constantly evolving and improving the experience of collecting Avios to make it simpler, easier and rewarding. Core to achieving this is the Avios Collection Platform and white-label web channel, Collect.com. The Avios Collection Platform provides the underlying services, data and content to join together the various ways to collect Avios and provides the integration into our wider customer databases, it's consumed by our internal product teams and our partners. Collect.com is a purpose built web channel designed to engage customers with collecting Avios and provide a simple and consistent collection experience. We require a Product Delivery Manager to join the team to own the analysis and delivery of development across two of our development teams. At a glance Lead the design, analysis and delivery of development across the Avios Collection Platform and Collect.com teams ensuring we deliver and maintain high quality products. You'll wear two hats comfortably managing features & enhancement from inception through to release using agile methodologies. As the product delivery manager you will take the lead in turning ideas into a reality and embody the principle of servant leadership; enabling our teams to realise the benefits of being an automatous, self-organising team and keeping the path to delivering value clear. What You Will Be Doing Accountable for delivering the product roadmap across frontend, backend and platform. Working closely with the Product Owners, development teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these into high quality user stories. Support with the prioritisation of features / bug fixes on across two backlogs, providing a cohesive and logical approach that drives towards key OKRs and KPIs. Managing the discovery, analysis and refinement process for any new epics. Leading the delivery team, providing feedback, answers and leading from the front daily to ensure goals are achieved. Management of the development teams and running key scrum ceremonies including stand-up, refinement, sprint review and retros. Understanding and managing the dependencies between our product teams, product teams inside IAG Loyalty with our partners. Defining user problems and opportunities and proposing product solutions to address these. Reporting on performance against key success metrics and drive improvements against these metrics. Constantly reflecting on and analysing team performance and enacting recommendations to improve quality and speed of delivery. Advocate the adoption of agile working across the organisation and be a subject matter expert on various methodologies, tools and approaches. You'll be an agile evangelist and will be know the right tools, techniques and methodologies to employ for any scenario and want to share this with, and coach others. Experience of delivering digital products across multiple teams. An excellent, proven understanding of agile and lean methodologies. Experience of managing and delivering a product backlog. Experience of directly managing technical resources including developers, designers and Quality Assurance Engineers. Ability to breakdown complicated requirements into epics and high quality user stories. Ability to construct high quality acceptance criteria, tailoring the level of detail to ensure high speed and high quality delivery. Excellent understanding of APIs, AWS cloud architecture, front & backend frameworks, continuous integration and content management systems. Literate with customer research and analytic tools including Google Analytics, Hotjar & Userzoom. Literate with understanding monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and Sentry. Highly familiar with Jira and Confluence.
