Machine Learning Software Engineer I am seeking a Machine Learning Software Engineer to join an AI chip start-up based in central Oxford, UK. The patented technology is based on over a decade of research, they have funding in the millions, huge growth aspirations and are on the cusp of bringing their chip to market so it truly is an excellent time to join them on their journey. Primary responsibilities Develop efficient, reliable software including optimised AI models and compiler libraries for the AI-specialized hardware accelerator. This will include taking design leadership for individual modules, from specification to delivery Development of a compiler stack that will interface the chip into standard developer frameworks Running benchmark neural network models onto the next prototype chip Work closely with the hardware and architecture teams to ensure an optimized chip architecture Required experience MSc with experience or PHD with post-doc and/or experience Expertise in contemporary Machine Learning models, including an understanding of how models and layers are built GPU/accelerator experience Strong mathematics Python, C/C++ TensorFlow, PyTorch What’s on offer? £60-75,000 with flexibility for the right person and experience 25 days’ holiday Options program Skilled Worker Visa support Hybrid working (2-3 days on-site weekly) This is an exciting and challenging role for a bright and enthusiastic Machine Learning Engineer with excellent career progression opportunities in a growing company.
