Overview Junior Business and Data Consultant – Up to £35K Data Clarity has a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Business and Data Consultant to join their Data Consultancy team. This is a new role that has been created in response to an increase in Business turnover and an expansion in the Service portfolio. As a Junior Business and Data Consultant you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and experience to work with our Senior Consultants on multiple exciting projects involving Strategy, activation, Analytics, Data and Creation. The diversity of the projects you will be getting involved will allow you to be as close as possible to customer issues, to acquire a real knowledge of data and to quickly develop your skills further. As this is a new role within the Business, you will be expected to work across the R&D, Consultancy and Customer facing teams to evolve and support the established processes and take these to the next level. This is in support of a range of Customer Projects as well as the day-to-day operational needs of the business. ACTIVITIES Support Senior Consultants with: · Definition of the customers’ needs through interviews with the customer and their technology partners. · Creation, development, and presentation of strategic data recommendations for the customer. · General Project Management of the engagements with the customer. · Creation, development, and presentation of new proposals to customers. · Keeping the technical knowledge up to date with the latest technologies in the market. · Participating in the writing of the deliverables including documentation, presentations, diagrams. SKILLS/ ABILITIES Essential · Understanding of the Standard Operating Procedures of a business · Understanding of Knowledge and Information Systems in supporting decision making · Understanding of Data Lifecycle and Data Lineage from a business perspective · Understanding of Master Data Management Process · Understanding of Data Governance Process · Understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Lifecycle · Understanding how organisation creates strategies · Understanding competitiveness in rapidly changing environments · Understanding of how the Business Strategy and Business Analytics need to integrate · Understanding of how the data is used to support decision making Ideally · Experience with SQL, Python for analysing data to produce meaningful business insights. · Familiar with multiple Data Warehouse methodologies.
