What's the job? We're now looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Executive who will report into the Business Intelligence Manager. The role will support the business in achieving profitable growth by developing best in class analytics solutions that put data at the heart of every decision. You will join a small, centralised BI team supporting 15 different teams across the company where over 75% of the business use our BI tool, Looker, on a weekly basis. The role is ideal for an ambitious self-starter who is interested in developing analytics solutions across diverse data sets in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Day-to-day, you can expect to: Translate complex data into insightful, actionable and strategic data solutions which empower Papier to make data-driven decisions Maintain and improve our reporting to maximise effectiveness and accuracy Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their challenges, priorities, and deliver creative solutions Develop new approaches and methodologies that challenge and improve our current thinking and reporting and support the long term strategic goals of the BI team Support internal stakeholders with reports and ad-hoc data requests Educate and train users on our data and analytics tools Requirements You'll succeed in this role if you have: 2 years of relevant experience in a BI (or similarly transferable) role Advanced SQL ability Confidence multi-tasking, prioritising and managing multiple projects Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills - comfortable working directly with business teams and tech teams alike Experience developing in BI tools (Looker preferred) Experience with modern data tools such as a cloud data warehouse (Redshift/Snowflake/Bigquery), Github, dbt, Python are all a plus but not required Experience and/or knowledge of ecommerce and website data desirable The motivation to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment A degree in a relevant, quantitative subject Benefits What you'll get: A seat at Maison Papier, our lovely Camden office (hybrid working pattern of 2 days p/week in the office) Private medical and rewards scheme with Vitality Health 50% off gym memberships with Virgin Active, Pure Gym and more Enrolment into the Papier Pension Enhanced parental leave policies Cycle to work loan scheme £40 per month cultural allowance to spend on anything inspiring £75 personal stationery allowance, and £150 to spend on wedding stationery if you get married Generous staff discount 2 days paid per year to volunteer on a cause you care about Access to mental health & wellbeing resources Weekly team lunches & regular cultural trips Dog-friendly office Friendly and fantastic team
