This specific role is to be an Operational MI Analyst as part for the Operational MI Team based in Middlesbrough. Your key responsibilities would be to: Work as part of a Team responsible for designing, testing and producing all operational MI for a multitude of customer-facing departments spread across the UK. Meeting the individual needs and demands of the above-mentioned customer-facing departments. Use a wide range of software packages (Excel, Access, SQL Server, Visual Studio, SSRS, PowerBI etc to process and manipulate data from a wide range of platforms. Complete BAU reporting which will be used from individual agent to CEO level Continually look to improve processes where possible. Qualifications Who are we looking for? Good analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving A keen eye for accuracy, a desire to deliver reliability and support a high performing team High aptitude of skills using Microsoft products, Excel and Access etc. Excellent communication, presentational and visualisation skills. Highly organised and motivated with the ability to work as part of a team or independently Ability to take full responsibility for a range of data sources, processes and stakeholder delivery in a pro-active manner. Able to effectively engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously Familiar with a range of different data analysis techniques Experience An understanding of programming languages with the ability to interpret/amend languages such as VBA, SQL, C# etc. Other languages such as SASS, DAX or Python would also be a benefit. An understanding of MI Analysis products, for example SSRS, Power BI, Tableau or QlikView. A desire and track record in innovating solutions (including streamlining process and continuous improvement). Ability to train others, share best practice, skills and knowledge.
