The Ecosystem Insights (EI) team provides strategic thought partnership to teams across Global Product Strategy (GPS). The EI team is responsible for ensuring that the voice of the customer is factored into business decisions and strategies to ensure that Roche's Pharma business is intervening to co-create solutions where needed in the healthcare ecosystem. The EI team is responsible for providing unbiased, objective, expert and tailored strategic insights. This team works in collaboration with the other parts of Digital Customer Engagement & Insights (DCE&I) e.g. Advanced Analytics for Business Insights, Competitive Intelligence and Digital Excellence teams to develop customer-centric solutions to bring value to the healthcare ecosystem and ultimately better outcomes for patients. The Ecosystem Insights 360 Catalyst will act as an expert in advancing new standards & building capabilities around insights integration across global & affiliate teams. He/she is expected to accelerate what data is used & how, to problem solve, uncover opportunities & optimize our strategies to drive meaningful & differentiating customer experiences. He/she will be responsible for enabling the design, measurement & tracking of Key Value Indicators (KVIs) to identify the extent of success of our engagement strategy & tactics across the launch funnel, from pre to post launch. The Ecosystem Insights 360 Catalyst role will require field specialization & extensive industry experience in data sources including but not limited to primary market research, secondary data, social media listening, real world databases & CRM systems. Knowledge of data sources, combined with strong analytical skills and business acumen are critical success factors for this role. The role involves being a source of expertise and a connector to the Digital Customer Engagement Network (DCEN). He/she will work closely with the Advanced Analytics & Business Insights (AABI) team & Digital Excellence (DEx) to identify, develop & elevate capabilities in terms of skill sets, tools & processes to harness the power of data across multiple sources to generate insights. He/she will serve as a coach to the EI Integrated Insights Leads (iILs) , helping them with on the job coaching on designing KVIs, tracking them through multiple data sources & integrating the insights to identify the so what. ROLE EXPECTATIONS Act as an expert on using the latest tools/methods in insights integration to drive business solutions & problem solve Work across the Ecosystem Insights team and with the iILs to define and align on business problems, translate the same into an analytical problem, and collaborate with AABI to design a solution approach across the portfolio and help execute to deliver relevant insights that lead to actions. Work closely with the iILs to design KVIs to help the organization learn about what’s working & what’s not & course correct sooner than later. Drive synergies & strategic thinking on data integration & interpretation broadly across therapeutic areas, optimizing resources in the network, sharing learnings broadly in GPS, Pharma International & Product Development. Work with Advanced Analytics & Business Insights to connect and explore large data-sets (both internal and external) to drive new value from insights to solve business problems & provide foresight on ‘white spaces’ & opportunities. Collaborate with the data science team on Diagnostic and Predictive Models to solve the business problem, helping define new/extend existing solutions to deliver against the needs Stay ahead of data analytics trends and opportunities within and outside the industry; working with the EI iILs to consolidate and communicate findings, and share broadly within GPS & the Pharma International network. KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED We seek an accomplished change leader, with a creative & strategic mindset, a can do attitude , with demonstrated success having worked with large and complex data to drive smarter & better decision making. Specifically, they will possess the following: Demonstrated ability of combining technical data knowledge and analytics expertise with a strategic business mindset to help integrate insights from multiple sources Minimum 12 years experience in utilizing insights to drive strategy & business decisions Minimum 4 years experience in insights & analytics in the healthcare industry Minimum 4 years experience working in a leading strategic consultancy in healthcare Demonstrable experience shaping go-to-market strategy for product launches, including digital engagement Experience with digital data analytics Strong leadership skills: excellent team management, coaching and mentoring skills, superior planning, process and influencing skills Excellent interpersonal skills to drive alignment among cross-functional and global teams Demonstrated leadership skills within a matrixed environment, with the ability to influence senior level stakeholders, drive alignment cross-functionally and drive organisational change Takes initiative and suggests ways to move forward Able to understand complex business process and influence business change Is customer-centric and able to apply this approach to everything they do Acts from a whole system, enterprise perspective and understands the big picture Impeccable ethics and integrity Exceptional structured problem-solving and strategic agility abilities Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate international team engagement Periodic business travel expected as needed Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering or related quantitative field (preferred) Do you have any questions?
