Role Summary: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Delivery Manager to join our Technology Consulting Services business and initially to be part of a recently awarded long-term Managed Service. Role : Delivery Manager End Client: Global Online Retail Location : London / Remote Duration : Initially a 6 Month FTC Salary : Competitive Benefits Role overview The main tasks of the Delivery Manager will be to manage and support a team deployment and be responsible for the management of their day-to-day tasks within in the Engineering team. The role is predominantly people focussed, ensuring our Spartans are working productively, communicating across the various teams and are being supported whilst onsite. As a Delivery Manager, you must have a good understanding of various technology skills in Systems, Software Architecture, Infrastructure and have practical experience of public cloud services. Requirements Team leadership and people development skills Experience of project delivery, workload prioritisation and resource management. Supporting and mentoring junior team members and building L&D plans Experience in customer stakeholder management and leadership Assessing customer feedback and using creativity to establish, improve, and refine services. System/software architecture awareness - with a core focus on DevOps practices within Continuous Deployment/Delivery life cycles Infrastructure experience, that covers Architecture, Networks, Cloud, Testing, Environment Management, ITIL Experience of working with a wide stakeholder group including 3rd party suppliers A good understanding of the development process with quality assurance in mind ensuring that testing is automated throughout Awareness of system operational needs across 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines levels of support Skills: Communication - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to engage with a variety of business stakeholders both technical and non-technical Influence Working at senior management level, establishing and maintaining effective programme and project stakeholder partnerships.
