Role Overview: As a Technical Lead at Pretty Pragmatic, youll head up the development team and work with the wider agency team to create robust, innovative digital products for our clients who really appreciate what we do for them. The main elements of the role will be: Website delivery creating websites that really stand out, working with our Creative Team and Developers, along with the wider PP team, to take client briefs and bring them to life in exciting ways. Process governance enhance our project process to maximise efficiency and reliability throughout the project life cycle. This may include the introduction of new tools and technologies such as version control (Git), deployment tools (DeployHQ), project management (JIRA, Notion, Trello etc). Ensuring best practices at Pretty Pragmatic we pride ourselves on maintaining web standards. This not only includes Accessibility (W3C) best practices but also ensuring that our websites are built with Sustainability in mind. We use green servers for web hosting but also ensure that our web products are performant and efficient to reduce their carbon output. Team development helping to nurture and build the internal development team, along with identifying and integrating external expertise where required on a project basis. Who were looking for: Youll have experience in a senior or leadership role working within an agency or development team. Specific skills youll need: Ability to manage the development process from discovery all the way to delivery. Experience and good knowledge of C# .NET, .NET Core. MVC, SQL. Over 2 years experience in Umbraco CMS (v8 & v9). Knowledge of C# design patterns. Experience with GIT (GitLab) and Deployment processes. Ability to work within a team to translate requirements into technical specifications. Excellent communication skills, making technical language easy to understand both internally and with clients. Familiar with Adobe XD (or equivalent). Nice to haves: DevOps Some familiarity with server and DNS configuration. Google Products Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics & Search Console. Knowledge of technical SEO considerations.
