We are seeking a passionate and driven IT Applications Developer to join our IT team. Our aim is to develop systems that enable us to deliver our vision for everyone to have an opportunity to have a place they can call home. As our IT Applications Developer, you will be central in the delivery of our digital strategy and ongoing business improvements. You will recommend solutions and build effective business systems, ensuring that they are of an excellent standard and provide value for money to the business. You will participate in requirements workshops, investigate stakeholder requirements, problems, and opportunities, and recommend effective business solutions ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness to achieve a well-engineered result. You will provide technical visualisation of proposed solutions, to translate logical designs into physical ones, and ensure work is accurately mapped to requirements. The ideal candidate will: Hold a professional Microsoft MSCA certification. Have proven experience of applying analytical skills to complex technical and business processes and recommend solutions, focusing on successful delivery of outcomes. Have experience of delivering IT based projects, using a structured methodology, and be actively involved in projects through the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation and support. Have proven working knowledge of Microsoft software, SQL, SharePoint, O365 product suite and collaboration tools. Be able to adapt to a continually changing environment with a significant program of business change. Have excellent communication, influencing and persuading skills. Be a strong team player and with excellent problem-solving skills. Be able to organise and prioritise own workload. Knowledge of PMI, PRINCE2 Project Management and ITIL principles is desirable, as is a degree in a computer related discipline. Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references, and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
