IT Infrastructure Transformation Manager - Cloud Transformation Technical Infrastructure Manager sought by a reputable Transport organisation, with numerous sites spread across the county, providing services to hundreds-of-thousands. You'll be joining at a particularly exciting time for the business, currently undergoing major change as it separates from Group. You will support a significant technology transformation roadmap, along with the building and shaping of a new team, as the business brings IT services and capability back in-house and invests heavily in the modernisation and transformation of infrastructure and the wider IT environment. As Infrastructure Operations Manager, you will assume responsibility for management of both on-prem and cloud infrastructure, networks and security for all 40 UK sites, together with line management of a team of 6 individuals. Responsibilities: Management of on-prem and cloud infrastructure, networks and security for all UK locations, ensuring resources, capability and capacity meet both existing and future business demand Driving cloud migration strategy and owning the strategy for infrastructure and integration Management of internal and external resources, ensuring infrastructure services are managed and supported effectively Line management of a team of 6 Infrastructure and Network Engineers (total IT team of circa 20), to in the delivery of projects and BAU support. Together with the Technical Services Manager, ensure incidents and requests are being resolved within SLA's. Take the lead in projects, including shift to IaaS (Azure, decommissioning on-prem DC) a migration from MLPS to SDWAN and more. Together with the Security Team, ensure cyber security risks are mitigated. Assume responsibility for the IT Risk Register and ensure compliance of IT systems with relevant ISO standards. Ensure DR plans are robust, testing regularly to enable business continuity in the event of incidents. Required experience: Knowledge and demonstrable experience of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft365 (including SharePoint and Intune), Window Server (ideally including 2019), Citrix, Virtualisation and deployment / management of SaaS products. Knowledge and demonstrable experience of Network Infrastructure (including WiFi), Cloud technologies, Service Management and Cyber Security. Management of Infrastructure, Network and Cloud teams in highly collaborative environments, promoting a strong teamwork ethos. Delivery of technology projects relating to Infrastructure, Networks and Cloud, ideally with formal Project Management experience. Design and implementation of IT Roadmaps and production of high-quality documentation. A comprehensive understanding of security principles, experienced in the operation and delivery of a "secure by design" approach. Experience working with 3rd parties and running RFI / RFP's. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to articulate technical subjects to a non-technical audience. Ideally you will also have an understanding of TOGAF methodology and possess relevant professional qualifications.
