THE ROLE OF A HEO PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICER The role provides an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of an Internationally focussed portfolio within the Police and Public Protection Technology (PPPT) Portfolio. The International Law Enforcement Portfolio currently manages three projects; the International Law Enforcement Alerts Platform (I-LEAP), which is the delivery programme looking to establish a service for international security data sharing and is a recognised GMPP programme. National Drug Service (NDS) system upgrade and UK Central Authority Digitisation (UKCA). KEY OUTCOMES AND DELIVERABLES: 1. Develop, implement, update, and monitor MS Project Plans, Risk and Issues Logs, Assumption and Dependency trackers, Project reports, financial reports and Change Controls processes and escalate to the Project Manager/ Lead when required. 2. Reporting: supporting the creation of programme/workstream Reports for key Boards and Senior Meetings. 3. Meetings Secretariat: organising key Boards and Senior Meetings, including papers and minutes. 4. Works closely with the Project Manager/ Lead to determine weekly priorities and activities 5. Financial management: forecasting and tracking spend; reconciliation with General Ledger; analysis of variances between forecasts and actuals. 6. Commercial support: raising Purchase Orders; receipting for goods and services; reviewing and agreeing invoices Please note successful applicants will be expected to go through vetting and Security Clearance We look forward to hearing from you and wish you the very best of luck with your application
