About the Job Interview Date: Week Commencing 17 October 2022 The University of Northampton have a new opportunity for a fixed term Project Manager post, as part of the Projects & Portfolio team, assisting us to continually to drive change, and assist the delivery of successful projects. You will be someone with exceptional organisational and communication skills, with experience of managing both complex business change and technology projects. A proactive thinker who can work with a team to address challenges. Facilitating collaborative working and creating / maintaining formal and informal networks across the organisation as appropriate. You will be assisting the team to drive continual change through planning and managing critical projects using industry standard approaches. About You This would ideally suit someone that already has significant skills and experience within a project environment and is looking for the next step in their career.The successful candidate will be a team player with a focus on successful project delivery. They will have proven experience in a project management role, a passion for new technology, service delivery and customer experience taking ownership of delivery. Qualifications Essential Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Experience of managing either business change or technology projects Formal Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, ISEB, PPM, AGILE, SCRUM ITIL Foundation or equivalent experience Desirable HE qualification Department This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a role in a progressive and ambitious Project team, within IT Services. IT Services provide support and delivery of IT needs for staff and students across the University. The Project Team leads on the delivery of all technical Projects, providing key management from initiation to implementation.
