This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great company on a full-time, permanent basis, and is not to be missed We are looking for someone with service desk experience, and a will to do well and progress their career. A few things that would help you to make an impact in your new role would be a keen attention to detail, accomplished organisational skills, and confidence in communicating with people when providing relevant support. You will be given all the tools and support to be able to settle into your new role and to hit the ground running. Some of the main duties of this role will include: Receive, log, monitor and respond in a timely manner to Service Requests across all communication channels. Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support and advice across 7 sites, and those working remotely. Where necessary, you will escalate to other internal or external resources yet remain the internal point of contact until resolved. Assist in the day-to-day operation of tech installation, specifically to include the smooth running of all laptop hardware, software, printers and smartphone devices. Work within the ITIL framework in relation to incident, problem, change and asset management. Manage the incident process from beginning to end. Ensure all records are kept up to date Provide a user friendly service for all users Stay up to date with any new technologies that may be implemented by the business to maintain expert knowledge to uphold ability to provide support. Provide support to IT projects. Perform other ad-hoc duties as required. Whats in it for you? Basic knowledge of how to troubleshoot desktop network issues. Demonstrable analytical approach to problem solving. Accomplished Customer Service skills Excellent written and verbal communicative skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft System Centre and Internet Information Services. ITIL exposure and awareness.
