Currently we are urgently looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to join an Enterprise Engineering team. Working closely with Platform experts in Cloud, DevOps and Business Change experts, you will possess contemporary industry knowledge and the skills required to engage, influence and challenge your peers. You will be successful at developing a strong internal network and provide support and work collaboratively with your immediate peer group with domain expertise. This is a hands-on role, where you can use your technical skills to help deliver new ways of working within an Cloud & DevOps Services team. Migrating Windows and Linux based applications from legacy data centres to containerised applications in Azure, on AKS. Developing pipelines to deploy code all the way to production with Terraform, using GitHub Actions Maintaining azure “enterprise scale” terraform structure for underlying Azure Platform Managing new demand for platform and application onboarding to Azure. Assisting application development teams to architect their applications to be cloud native or helping them transform existing applications to cloud native where possible. Implementing monitoring and alerting for migrated applications. Improving security posture of applications being migrated Creating secure reusable patterns for application development teams to reuse. Requirements Experience as a Solutions Engineer / Architect, Technical Account Manager, DevOps Engineers or similar would be ideal Strong understanding of Public Cloud - specifically Azure. Hands-on experience of operational constraints and common issues from networking, databases and general cloud-based pitfalls Thorough understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including but not limited to; CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes and Serverless Ability to assess where an organisation is on its cloud-native journey and help guide them Enabling infrastructure-as-code working practices Versioning and best practices of code, artefacts and deployments ?
