Our mission is simple to help the world love Mondays Reed Secure are working with a major counter terrorism unit who are looking for a DV cleared NOHP Technical Engineer to support a national policing team. £600 per day (Inside IR35) Initial contract 6 months, with potential of being extended DV cleared candidates only Knowledge, Skills and Experience The role holder must have: • Experience of working in a technically diverse environment preferably• Experience of working with service desk call management systems• Experience of working within an ITIL service environment working to defined metrics and SLAs• Experience of Cisco technologies including Routing, Switching, VoIP and Video Conferencing• Experience of Juniper and Cisco security and firewall devices• Experience of load balancer technology• Experience of Cisco switching and routing hardware• Experience of network security best practice• Experience of ITIL change management• Experience of failover testing, resilience and redundancy methodology• Experience of Network and Infrastructure monitoring and automation tools• CCNA qualification preferred• Ability to prioritise, execute tasks and achieve results in a busy Service Operation environment• UK Driving License Experience Of: • VMware vSphere (vSAN, NSX)• Windows OS (2008R2 to 2019)• Applications based ono SQL DBso Web based applications• Some Linux• F5 Load balancers (migration to NSX load balancers)• Air-gapped environment (no direct internet access) The post holder will be required to do the following:• Design and Build of various systems across all security level networks• Installation and Configuration of COTS products Experience - Essential • Experience of Windows Server and desktop operating systems• Experience of VMWare Virtualisation products• Experience of F5 Load Balancers infrastructure and configuration Experience - Desirable • Experience of infrastructure design within a secure environment• Experience of failover testing, resilience and redundancy methodology• Experience of Infrastructure monitoring and automation tools• Experience of ESRI Mapping products• Microsoft Certification• VMWare Certification• ITIL v3 Foundation If you hold the clearance and skills to be successful, please reply to this email.
