What you'll do Within the Communications & Infrastructure group, the programme delivery team is responsible for delivering programmes/projects across multiple countries and variety of technologies from Mobile, Broadband, Voice, CDN, Internet peering, and Cloud. Security is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a credible Programme Director who has worked on sophisticated digital programmes, with a focus on security design and implementation. More specifically, you will be driving the multi-year implementation programme of telecom security requirements across network management, signaling, automation, public and private cloud. Successful candidates will have a technical program management background, be detail driven, and have experience in scaling up teams and leading virtual teams. You will have good interpersonal and leadership skills to motivate and inspire their teams to deliver maximum performance and achieve organisational objectives. You will be a passionate and validated leader with the ability to gain stakeholder consensus, communicate authoritatively at both the executive and project team level, and collaborate with a wide variety of technical and non-technical teams, regardless of geographical or organisational boundaries. You will be a natural problem solver with a cool head, that can deal with ambiguity and work autonomously to deliver results. Join our Group Communications and Infrastructure team and you'll work alongside authorities in broadband, telephony, mobile, cloud and infrastructure. We're the team that designs, builds, supports and maintains the telecoms networks across the whole Sky Group. Together, we help Sky broadband, mobile and TV enter new markets by creating a single and secure infrastructure for the amazing content and services that keep our customers coming back for more. Take end-to-end ownership of Communications & Infrastructure security requirements implementation programme. Bring to bear your programme management, technical, organisational, and transformation expertise to understand the business and strategic goals, translate them into an executable plan, and drive the implementation to success Continue to grow and structure this very large programme Ensure necessary governance and controls are in place to ensure successful delivery, demonstrate alignment to agreed time, cost, and quality deliverables. Identify and proactively handle risks, issues, dependencies, forecast resources demand and prioritisation. Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels from stakeholders to programme team members, including government organisations. Compiling and writing progress reports and making presentations to management and other stakeholders Lead the programme team by example. Motivate the team and create a collaborate 'can do' environment What you'll bring You will be passionate about delivering a great customer experience, driving innovation, and delivering successful migration programs. You will have a proven track record of successful complex transformation delivery programmes, leading large teams in a multicultural environment. People leadership skills with demonstrable experience.
