If you’re an exception games or software developer veteran with a number of shipped titles or software projects, with expert knowledge of the .Net Framework, C# and OO design principles, with a keen interest to learn Unity from industry professionals, then let’s have a chat About the role: As a Senior Developer of their VR application, you will become an integral part of a team enabling the world’s top creative and forward thinking blue-chip retailers to create and maintain the stores of the future. What you’ll be doing: You’ll implement new, world-first features in the VR and Design application space Maintain existing features, improving the users interactions and workflows with intuitive solutions Expand our internal tooling and framework architecture for ease of development Work with unannounced & prototype hardware & software from our partners, the world's leading venders, incorporating their solutions into the Virtual Retail environment Collaborate across departments with experts in their field to define technical solutions to real-world problems Help create a culture of learning, collaboration, innovation, and autonomy About you: A thorough understanding of C#, .Net framework Expert, practical knowledge of OOD principles with the knowledge of when and why they should be applied An understanding of Data Oriented Design paradigms and where it may have its uses Experience developing features to a specification Great communication skills, written and verbal, able to present theoretical solutions to the team Experience architecting and working in large scale, long-term life-cycle applications The studio is based in the UK and are seeking someone also UK based. The position can be primarily remote, with bi-monthly meet ups. You must have the right to work in the UK. Salary available is up to £70,000 per annum.
