Vehicle Technology Engineer Automotive EV Silverstone Permanent Automotive An exciting opportunity to work for a highly successful, high-profile company who work within emerging EV technologies to convert vehicles into zero emission powertrains. We are looking for an experience vehicle technology engineer to develop a mobile and virtual experience for the clients of both our clients commercial and classic vehicles. The vehicle technology engineer will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of the technology required to accomplish set goals but will be liaising with third parties to pull together a final product. Key experience and responsibilities: (Essential) 7 years in mobile/web application development Demonstrated interest in electric vehicles Experience managing many stakeholders (Desirable) 10 years in mobile/web application development Experience with EV app development / modification Experience with commercial vehicle environment Gather requirements from both commercial and classic vehicle businesses to define feature requirements and desired user experiences Develop technology and feature roadmap for company to prioritize programs Scope external suppliers to work with to develop the platform and guide the development through program gateways to ensure quality of final product Design and execute data acquisition and fleet management strategies Demonstrated excellence in developing application environments or working with third parties to do so Examples of setting realistic user requirements from a variety of markets, and using these to prevent scope creep Examples of working to high standards in build process including documentation, build checks, signoffs, etc. Ability to communicate succinctly and clearly about needs and issues Hands-on experience either in professional or personal environments (Personal projects, working with factory floor, etc) Experience working in small, collaborative environments Ability to create and maintain their own momentum in workplace Evidence of lateral thinking in agile environments Good attitude and optimistic towards future Strong work ethic and genuine humility This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and make a difference within an expanding market leading organisation as such a competitive salary of £38k-£45k is available for the right experience.
