Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience? Apollo Home Healthcare are looking to recruit a large team of Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and can support our adult service user who has complex care needs. Our service user is a mature gentleman who lives with his extended family and requires 24/7 care. In his spare time, he loves to watch sports on the TV, primarily football. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, and his dog. He can mobilise himself independently and can use a wheelchair for longer distances. Due to his tracheostomy, his verbal communication is reduced. He has a whiteboard that he writes on, and his care team will need to be able to lip-read to establish his wants and needs. As well as his clinical care needs you will also be required to support his social and emotional needs. Please note, drivers are preferred, however we can accept non drivers who are local to Witham with reliable transport links. Essential Experience Required 3 months' previous care experience Personal Care Moving and Handling Medication Administration Desirable Experience Gastrostomy Care (PEG feeding) Tracheostomy Care Nebulisers Cough Assist UK Driving Licence We have the following shifts available; Full and Part Time Days- 8am-8pm Nights – 8pm – 8am We would ideally like candidates who can support with both days and nights.
