Job Summary The role’s primary duty is to build and manage the London school’s retail channel and relationships with agents with the aim of achieving sales targets. The Business Development Specialist will also manage on a daily basis orientation and admission processes of prospective and enrolled students coming from the retail channel and when requested support the direct applicants too. The jobholder will handle requests from online and offline channels, applying the required procedures, in order to optimise the effectiveness of the information and orientation process, up to enrolment. Accordingly, they will be supporting the end-to-end Admissions and administration process for all UCAS and retail applications. The incumbent will also support marketing activities, mainly in London, such as presentations to schools, open days, recruitment fairs, together with supporting any company events. Finally, they will be in regular contact with the finance office with the aim of verifying the payment status of enrolled students and will cooperate with the other departments as needed. Key purpose of the role Handling applications from agents; Managing the retail inbox; Communicating with agencies on a daily basis; To support the Sales Manager with the retail channel management; Submitting weekly reports to the Sales Manager on applications and enrolment conversion aiming at monitoring the sales performance; Provide agents with training and updates on the school’s events, activities, academic offer and marketing material; To network and build relationships with external agencies; To manage the orientation requests, by email, Skype or in person; To support the end-to-end Admissions and administration process for UCAS and retail applications; To advise applicants to prepare relevant visa/UKVI supporting documentation in line with HEP institutional requirements & policy; To review, issue and monitor visas for suitable & eligible applicants in a timely manner and in line with the latest UKVI Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) policy; To support sales activities such as open days, fairs and presentations to Schools; Occasional travels to meet agents and attend fairs; Closely collaborate with Programme Leaders during the admission process; Keeping all the platforms used updated; Targets achievements and monitor own performance. Education and desirable skills Bachelor Degree Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles within the higher education industry Experienced in creating reports and database management Knowledge of Salesforce, the Microsoft package and Mac system Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the English language. Any other foreign language knowledge is a plus Personal skills: ability to work under pressure, flexibility to travel, teamwork skills, commercial approach, organisation and attention to details Experience in working with target and to monitor own performance
