The Role If you’ve got skills in digital, we’ve got an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning integrated creative agency in Leeds. You’ll be working with everyone from designers and copywriters, to social media specialists and web developers on projects for a vibrant and diverse array of clients. A typical week might see you optimising UX for a major charity, shaping up SEO for a financial startup, or getting involved with a launch campaign for a brand about to hit the supermarket shelves. We don’t specialise by sector, so no two days are ever the same. As Digital Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients have an online presence to be proud of. You’ll work closely with our creative and web development teams to ensure the websites we build and manage are in keeping with our clients’ requirements, advising on the sitemap, UX, and SEO considerations as part of that delivery. You’ll also act as the agency’s lead SEO consultant, working closely with our PR, social media and copy teams to ensure the content and campaigns we deliver for a varied portfolio of clients make a positive impact on their audiences. The Responsibilities Be a trusted client advisor across all digital work and digital projects, forging productive relationships with a variety of client stakeholders Accurately brief relevant departments across the agency on work ranging from web page design and UX considerations, to optimised copy and offsite link building, ensuring the requirements of the brief are met, and are in keeping with client objectives Feed into resource planning, ensuring we’re managing capacity levels appropriately without compromising project delivery Manage the maintenance of a portfolio of websites hosted by the agency, reporting monthly on any actions taken and offering future recommendations to ensure continuous performance improvement Support the Design Director with the professional development of the agency’s web developers Work closely with the PR and social media team to develop, implement and report on digital PR campaigns that make a tangible positive impact on our clients’ online footprint Use quarterly audits of existing clients’ work across the business to identify opportunities to upsell our digital offering Be the agency’s SEO lead, ensuring outstanding SERP performance remains at the heart of everything we do, from website development and digital content creation to digital PR and social media campaigns Ensure the wider PR and social media, CAM and copy teams understand the basics of SEO and analytics tools, running quarterly (or as required) workshops to build an in-depth understanding of best practice throughout the agency Report on projects and monthly retainers, offering tangible recommendations that aim build on successes or help to improve the health of clients’ SEO profiles Undertake research including backlink audits, link gap analysis, keyword research and segmentation to inform content plans, onsite optimisation strategies, schema and other on site plugins for SEO, alongside general site audits with recommendations for improvements The Benefits Flexible working Pension Scheme Monthly Golden Hour Monthly Incentives Duvet Day Birthdays off 24 days Holiday Inspiration Day Employee Assistance Programme Away Day Location Leeds Office / Home (we offer a flexi home / work scheme.)
