Job Description This is an incredible opportunity to join a fast growing and values centered agency who are extremely passionate about providing world-class B2B Marketing expertise and delivery to their clients as well as a fantastic employee experience. The person in this role will have a natural flair for visual content , recognising what clean and impactful design looks like and be adept at interpreting clients’ requirements and translating that into detailed briefs for the design team. You will also be a natural with words, not a pure copy-writer but someone who pays attention to tone of voice, has an eye for detail and can write clean and impactful messaging and communications. The successful applicant will be highly organised, able to plan for and project manage many different forms of content creation all the way from initial client briefing through to final creative delivery. The successful applicant is a highly collaborative team player, who is able to work on your own initiative and enjoys a fast-paced, agile working environment. You will be keen to develop your skills in B2B marketing and would relish the opportunity to play a central role in our clients growing agency. You will report to the Head of Strategic Communications. Summary of the role Your principal responsibility will be to work with our Head of Strategic Communications and supporting our ABM and Digital Marketing teams to define the requirements for and manage the end-to-end delivery of content for the agency’ s clients. You will be aware of how to plan the right content at different stages of the buying lifecycle, confident to make recommendations on how to approach a brief. You will be involved in everything from ads and digital content, video and animation, to blogs and sales enablement materials. Whilst not a designer yourself, you will have a creative mind and an eye for layouts and visual appeal. The second part of your role will be to support in the development of messaging and copy – extracting insights from research and product information and turning that into compelling customer centric proof points and messaging hooks. These messaging hooks will form the basis of the brief for the content that you will create. From time-to-time you will also get involved in the development of buyer personas, conducting live interviews with end customers to gather the insight that will feed into the messaging and the brief. The right candidate will be able to assimilate complex information quickly and logically, have a natural flair for messaging and writing engaging copy and content, be naturally inquisitive, unafraid of asking challenging questions and have the confidence to lead client projects and present with impact. You will likely come from a marketing communications or equivalent background either in-house or at an agency. As the role is remote, you will be a self-starter and confident enough to reach out to the team when you need support. You will be articulate and passionate about delivering results for clients. Roles and responsibilities Be the client lead on projects that you own Content strategy and planning, based on lifecycle stages Creation of messaging frameworks, hooks and copy writing Conduct customer interviews and develop audience insights / personas Writing detailed and compelling content briefs Project Managing content creation on-time and to budget, proactively managing feedback and quality checking processes (QA) Manage resources/virtual teams as needed to deliver against the defined plan Keep on top of new market developments in the content marketing space and opportunities for clients to take advantage of. Play an active role in account development, expansion and promotion of the agency’ s Marketing brand through social media, videos and events. Skills & Experience 1-2 years experience in a marketing role, B2B or technology background preferable Familiar with Messaging and Communications Able to manage virtual project teams to a project plan Can deliver high quality messaging and copy Has a solid understanding of core B2B marketing principles and buying journey Strong visual communication and presentation skills Can interpret complex subjects and make them understandable Driven to succeed and deliver great work Comfortable working on a number of different projects at once Qualification and Educational requirements Educated to degree level, or has relevant work experience CIM qualification an advantage Salary & Benefits: • Role reports directly into Head of Strategic Communications • Home based with 2 days per week team time in the office • 25 days holiday each year your birthday – in total 26 days leave plus 8 bank holidays • Workplace Pension provided through Salvus Master Trust after 3 months in the business • Flexi-working hours can be discussed if that’s what you need to be successful • Early Friday finish 4pm • Personal development opportunities • Team socials and Christmas party • Quarterly wellbeing surprise and delight • Employee referral scheme - £500 for each new hire who passes probation
