Job Description – Team Teach Business Development Manager Team Teach is global, market leading training organisation that has over 20 years of experience transforming approaches to behaviour within Education and Health and Social care services. We have had an exceptional 2021 and are looking to add Business Development Managers to our team to bring our training to more organisations across UK and Ireland. We are already the ‘go to’ training provider for Education and Children’s services and with our recent BILD certification we now want to bring our training to more Health and Social care services. We have ambitious growth plans for 2022 and if you have experience the Health and Social care sector we want to hear from you. Our head office is in London, but some of our BDM’s are based remotely and we welcome candidates from anywhere in the UK or Ireland. Our team in Australia and New Zealand work with clients in many international locations, Globally we train in excess of 80,000 participants per year with a network of over 4000 trainers. Team Teach training brings together different thoughts and attitudes towards behaviour which allows organisations to create a consistent and holistic ethos that reflects that all behaviour is communication driven by emotions. Through a suite of courses, Team Teach thinking gives a toolkit approach which is 95% focussed on the understanding of feelings that drive behaviour and how to divert and de-escalate these. We recognise the need for physical intervention, when risk assessed as necessary, to keep service users and staff members safe and have a wide range of physical interventions to suit low – high risk settings and situations. In your new role as Business Development Manager you should be capable of full life-cycle consultative sales, from the initial prospecting call through to successfully meeting the customers need and closing a sale. You will have experience working on both fast turnaround low value/high volume opportunities through to high value/big ticket opportunities. Responsibilities: Managing all aspects of the sales pipeline from lead generation to sale in your geographical area, including reporting on your pipeline weekly. Proactive lead generation via mailers, phone calls & video meetings, offering all of the Team Teach courses to organisations within Education, Health and Social Care services; Positive Behaviour Management Level 1 / Level 2 Positive Behaviour Management Advanced Modules Positive Behaviour Management Trainer the Trainer Mental Fitness Parents BILD Positive Behaviour Management Level 2 / Level 3 BILD Positive Behaviour Management Trainer the Trainer Qualify both self generated and warm leads and help the business close them. You will have support from senior leadership on big ticket/high value leads Build a good quality, strategic sales plan that supports sales activities through the year Understand the organisational needs and provide expert advice and guidance on training options to best suit their requirements Networking to identify opportunities for Team Teach to exhibit/ speak/ hold workshops at Education, Health and Social Care services conferences/meetings Build and maintain relationships with trainers & keep availability up to date Organisation of training courses, allocating the trainer and managing course logistics Be willing to become a certified Team Teach Instructor as part of your role. Once competent and confident in delivering, on occasion you may also be asked to ‘assist’ trainers on courses being delivered to organisations. From time to time we will hold trainer events, usually held on a weekend – you will be expected to attend such events and will receive time back in lieu Skills and attitude: Experience/understanding of Education, or Health and Social Care services Ability to work independently, and as part as a of a team Skilled in new business development Good negotiator, ability to think on your feet Strong presentation skills to deliver pitches in person or virtually Exceptional and effective verbal and written communication skills Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales budget Ability to build strong relationships with new opportunities and current clients Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills Passionate, self-motivated, tenacious and driven to succeed Ability to prioritise and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals Proven ability to influence others Willingness to roll up your sleeves to support the rest of the team when needed Benefits: In return for your skills and experience you will earn a basic salary of between £30k to £50k (depending on experience) and a very competitive uncapped commission (up to 19% payable) On Target Earnings - all our BDM’s have the opportunity to at least double their salary through budget achievement. 30 days holiday plus an extra day for your birthday. We have 3 levels of BDM so there is a clear promotional pathway for career progression and opportunities for you to grow the organisation.
