The UK Marketing Team is central to developing, planning and representing the channel communication strategy of the UK business, as well as providing the UK channels with distribution marketing support across its major customer segments. The primary purpose of the team is to develop and deliver integrated marketing plans to support our UK business goals and strategy, ensuring we represent “One Fidelity” to our clients in the most compelling and appropriate manner – and our clients’ needs back into Fidelity. The span of activity is broad as befits a leading marketing organisation and operates through-the-line, incorporating planning, broadcast marketing, customer engagement and digital marketing functions. Ongoing research and insight into our customers’ needs, together with the evaluation of our marketing performance, is also integral to the team’s structure. Purpose of your role Reporting to the Head of Digital Performance, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading strategies that deliver integrated / cross-channel digital marketing campaigns in support of the wider UK marketing team activities (predominantly with a Personal Investing focus). You will ensure effective use of budget to deliver best possible ROI across all digital channels - utilising best-practice techniques, analytical data and automated bidding tools to the fullest extent to segment and target our audiences. You will manage 3 direct reports (responsible for PPC, SEO and Affiliate / Native activity) as well as work alongside the social and email team specialists and our digital agency to align activities. You will work closely with senior stakeholders (campaign managers etc) and have experience acquiring buy-in for digital strategies and budgets - as well as providing detailed, data driven analysis of campaign performance and any recommendations on subsequent actions. You will also be a key stakeholder for other teams looking to ensure we offer a personalised, market-leading, customer experience that effectively drives people through the buy-journey to conversion. We are increasingly building our capabilities with Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe AdCloud etc to help drive the levels of targeting and personalisation possible - and you will play a key role in delivering this objective. Key Responsibilities Develop the strategy to build market-leading customer experiences to grow assets under management and new customer volumes by serving the right message, at the right time, in the right place. Fidelity-lead on cross-channel digital strategy across PPC, SEO, Display, Social, Affiliates and Native to drive budget efficiencies and ROI and remove silos. Internal specialist in PPC and Display - with experience creating AdCloud automated bidding portfolios and mobile vs desktop strategies etc In-depth performance analysis using Adobe to adapt targeting and budget alignment to best performing campaign elements. Business lead on Adobe Audience Manager and the integration of Adobe Stack technologies across the business - Such as AdCloud (to power PPC, Display & VOD). Development of, and alignment to, key performance indicators and forecasting. Influencing of senior stakeholders to acquire buy-in on campaign strategy, testing and budget, using business cases, presentations or face-to-face conversation as relevant. External agency relationship lead at account management level as well as with the channel specialists, to drive optimum performance alongside positive working practices. Management of 2 x Direct Reports across Search, Affiliates and Native, with a focus on effective channel management, prioritisation, stakeholder management, escalation, and team welfare. Digital lead across all aspects of budget management and reconciliation.
