Cambridge | Full-time | Unlimited About the Business Development Manager, EMEA The Business Development Manager, EMEA, is a strategically vital part of the yearly HUBERSUHNER Polatis growth strategy for overall revenue and market share expansion. The EMEA Commercial markets require an experienced, trusted and technically capable professional capable of leveraging his/her experience and focusing on winnable and profitable business for the HUBERSUHNER Polatis Business Unit. The Business Development Manager should be the main point of communication both into this regional market as well as providing feedback into Polatis regarding industry trends, market movement and ultimately developing and executing the sales strategy for his/her region. The position requires the ability to build trust at all levels within a customer organization from Technician to engineer to Program Manager and C-level personnel within the communications and test & measurement markets. About You Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field of study. Technical Master’s degree preferred. Significant experience in the fiber optics industry Must possess in-depth technical knowledge of the Optical Transport, Router/Switch, xWDM, PON, DataCenter, and Optical Lab environments/architectures. This knowledge must be sufficient to provide executive briefings to the CxO level of targeted customers Experience with commercial sales into Communication and / or Test and Measurement markets and customers Excellent presentation and writing skills required Able to capture customer requirements and translate them to product specifications Experienced business traveller Experience managing revenue in excess of $5M per year Why HUBERSUHNER Polatis?
