Our client are are a highly respected plastic manufacturing business based in Manchester, main customer base is industrial manufactures with automotive and retail. We have an opening for a highly motivated, technically oriented, sales professional to join our existing team. The successful candidate will have the sole strategic aim of delivering profitable growth. The right candidate will have a proven track record and be expected to generate new clients and grow the existing business to increase turnover and market share. Working as part of a small team, to deliver an outstanding customer experience you will both manage existing accounts and build upon this base to seek out new opportunities Essential Skills and Experience: Candidates must have experience in Technical Sales and business development within the plastics and material handling industry. It would be advantageous to have an engineering background, or proven ability to advise and promote technical related product information. Previous experience of selling to Plastic packaging, Thermoformed vacuum formed products or plastic fabrications to mainly industrial business customers would be an advantage. A balance of officed based, remote working, visits to clients & prospects in mainland UK. Ability to travel throughout the UK essential. Working closely with customers to identify their needs to recommend the most cost-effective and efficient service. Liaising with internal costing, design, and production departments Negotiate the commercial aspects of the sale including contract negotiation. An ambitious, target focused individual with an appetite for success. Achieve predefined KPI, revenue and margin targets. Excellent personable skills to strengthen profitable relationships with existing customers. Computer literate – all standard MS office products, ability to create and deliver client presentations.
