As the Senior Account Manager, you will take accountability for the strategic development and client leadership of the client’s retail business to deliver profitable revenue growth for Catalina UK. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional leadership teams both locally and globally to execute on strategic plans, bringing new thinking and initiatives to drive growth in existing and new Retail shopper activation opportunities to ensure we deliver revenue targets and move towards becoming the UK retailers first choice for shopper engagement and loyalty. There are two positions available: one permanent full-time position and a 12-month Maternity cover position. Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of a Senior Account Manager include, but are not limited to: Develop a deep knowledge of the Catalina business to confidently manage client relationships and deliver presentations with a view to achieve annual client targets. Lead the development of the key client senior contact strategy to develop deep relationships and knowledge of the Clients business and objectives. Identify and implement opportunities and mitigate risks to become an indispensable business partner for existing and new retail media networks. Work in partnership and collaboration with other SAMs/Peers and stakeholders to optimise channel effectiveness and consistently deliver high quality shopper activation programmes for Morrisons and identify new opportunities. Proactively provide managers with regular (min. weekly) updates on the status of all projects, pre-empting potential delivery problems with recommendations for resolutions Manage direct report/s (if applicable) against specific objectives, ensuring quality and timely delivery of work; offering on-going day to day support and identifying training needs, ensure direct report/s has a development plan and coaching needs are provided as required Manage financial aspects from forecasting through to invoicing to ensure maximum profitability against annual targets, pipeline management, month end process, invoicing, accruals and aged debt. The Person The key skills and qualities of a Senior Account Manager are: Bachelor's degree required. 3 years of experience working in a Retail/CPG sales environment. Demonstrates market and industry knowledge and recognises changing market trends. Demonstrates the ability to link strategic sales goals to customer facing solutions. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside multiple team members Proven record of meeting/exceeding established sales goals. Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build business cases and value propositions to justify partnerships Ability to generate content to present new ideas, concepts, and strategies Ability to communicate with all levels within customer/prospect’s organisation.
