Our Cheshire-based client is part of a global business who have a presence in countries all over the world, they are expanding their internal sales team and are looking for an Account Manager to join them. This warm sales role will be looking after existing clients with their orders and supporting the process. This role will be supporting the Area Sales Managers and working closely with them to achieve the teams’ targets. Job Description: Contact existing customers regularly to ensure the continuation of existing business: exceeding agreed budget targets as well as identifying potential opportunities for new business, which will be passed to the area sales manager. Recording of customer & market-related information in CRM system, e.g.: contact reports and potential items (demand of customer covered by competitors/other suppliers) and contacts Project identification of dedicated customers to be recorded and managed via CRM opportunities Assessing the customer creditworthiness in line with credit control guidance Negotiate prices in line with local guidelines and market conditions. Awareness of Target Price Achievement Goodwill handling and cash discount reductions in accordance with local guidelines Creativity in offering alternative solutions to customers, e.g., delivery schedules, order campaigns, combined deliveries in accordance with local guidelines Agree and negotiate with customers on price increases and/or change in delivery volume of existing orders when necessary. Prepare (SAP) and follow-up quotations (CRM system) & samples Monitor usage/fulfilling of bonus (customer rebates) agreements Customer care (e.g., first contact for complaints and other issues) Preparation of sales forecast in cooperation with Area Sales Manager Attend customer visits with Area Sales Manager as required Organise and lead regular customer business review meetings via Microsoft Teams Candidate Requirements: Proven previous sales / Account Manager exp within a technical environment Good presentation skills A strong relationship builder A good team player who is a self-motivator A confident and results-orientated individual SAP / Dynamics experience is an advantage Good listener Hours: Monday – Friday 8:45 am- 4:45 pm Salary: £25,000 – £28.000 Per Annum Brampton Recruitment is an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
