World renowned brand in the plumbing & heating industry Pro-active sales role targeting the residential sector Working with National & Independent merchant partners Targeting Housebuilders, Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Merchants Growth position to capitalise on market potential Excellent earning potential and wider career prospects Area Sales Manager The Role: As an Area Sales Manager you will be tasked with covering a defined geographical territory in the South East of the UK - RG, OX, NN, MK, LU, HP AL, WD, HA, UB, SL, Central/North London. Your role will be targeting Housebuilders, Contractors, and Housing Associations across the region selling an integrated pipe solution which includes valves, piping, fixings, and seals for residential applications. You will look to create demand with the Contractors and Housing Developers, get on site to learn who are the right decision makers, work at head-office level, and ensure they are aware of the brand and bought into the solution on their projects. From there, you will back-sell the product through the merchant network in the region working closely with them as they partner with the contractors on site. In addition, the Area Sales Manager will work very closely with the Specification Team to convert leads and specifications they have won in the region. You will build strong relationships at all levels and be a high-energy operator who is activity driven and keen to open new doors. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria: Have a B2B sales background in the construction sector A track record in selling to national & independent merchants Strong communication and presentation skills Understanding of the housebuilder and/or social housing sector would be advantageous Full & Clean Driving licence Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE 30% bonus Hybrid/Electric Car Options Pension (7% matched) 25 days holiday Phone/Laptop etc Candidate Location: Oxford, Northampton, St Albans, Luton, London
