Together with a recognised range of standard products, they have more than 50 years’ experience in supplying custom-built equipment to suit highly specialised or individual requirements. They now seek an additional Technical Sales Engineer to join their team based in Lanarkshire and the applicant should meet the following criteria: Main Duties: As part of the Sales team, drive sales and marketing activity in the UK & Europe To target end user clients (Aerospace, Gas Turbine, Automotive and related industries) To cultivate Industry professionals such as project engineers, specifiers and procurers and develop commercial relationships. Qualifications/Background: Technical expertise with Engineering or Metallurgical based qualification. Previous field sales experience within engineering industries would be beneficial but applications will also be considered from Graduates with 2-3 years working experience in an industrial environment and a strong motivation for technical sales Skills: Good communication, presentation and organisation skills Self-motivated Team player Practical sales & marketing Personable Computer literate Systematic approach to processing of information Willingness to travel for sales meetings / activities / exhibitions
