About the Wholesale Account Manager Role The Wholesale Account Manager will make a significant contribution to our Wholesale division. This is a 6 month secondment opportunity. You’ll Manage the day to day operations of the Wholesale wholesale commercial account. Develop effective processes that enable the efficient delivery of the agreed joint business plan including forward promotion planning, seasonal range activation whilst delivering the sales, volume, profit and margin targets. Responsibilities include building and maintaining the customer relationship, engaging and influencing internal & external stakeholders and simplifying processes for the team to achieve results and deliver consistently against agreed service levels. This is a hybrid role operating over a four day working week. This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford. Boasting an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office. Some of your responsibilities will include: Provide Wholesale customers with range, price and promotional recommendations based upon customer led insight Challenge Trading, Manufacturing, Supply and Logistics to develop new initiatives to increase sales, drive penetration and improve customer perception of Morrisons brand Ensure customer complaints are collected, reviewed and addressed as necessary Ensure the right operational support structure is in place. Gain buy in from senior management to ensure Morrisons can deliver the joint plan Build and maintain cross functional relationships to ensure business decisions do not negatively impact the Wholesale relationship Ensure that the promotion programme is agreed in a timely manner and robust forecasts shared with our core supply & logistics teams to enable promotion success Manage the process that enables range change to be implemented effectively with no disruption to supply Continually develop and improve processes to increase efficiency Ensure all colleagues are aligned to delivering great customer service 100% of the time Grow existing and new customer accounts, ensure profitable and provide outstanding customer service Maximise the commercial performance of the Morrison’s Bulk Purchase business About You You’ll need skills and experience like this to be a success: We’ve built an incredibly diverse business, and we’re working hard to make sure we truly represent the communities we serve.
