Role: Global Marketing Communications Manager Contract: Temporary Location: 3 days per week 100% remote Salary: £300 per dayThe role is responsible for developing messaging and testing it to ensure resonance. Focus areas are new product introductions, digital marketing, content marketing, collateral creation, advertising and exhibits/event support - including digital and traditional communications assets and programs. This person develops and implements creative tools/techniques enabling sales execution and market acceptance of new products and business initiatives. They work closely with global and regional marketing and product management leaders to contribute to and execute Marketing Communication strategies for key products, regions and/or program. Along with developing campaigns, emphasis is placed on measuring their business impact and effectiveness. Roles & Responsibilities: Develop clear, creative MarComm strategies, messages and content from complex marketing objectives, team feedback and clinical content. Lead Marketing Communications plan implementation. Manage outside vendors. Track progress of programs and report results to marketing. Tie programs to key business metrics. Ensure adherence to corporate branding and integrating corporate guidelines into MarComm programs. Use influencing skills to drive adoption of new communications approaches and strategies - look to leverage new channels and techniques, and identify unique, attention-getting MarComm strategies to help meet marketing objectives. Continually evaluate processes and strategies to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and tools designed for both the market and sales force. Collaborate with peers to help ensure consistency of approach and integration of best practices. Integrate GE Public Relations and Internal Communications into planning as appropriate. Balance and synthesize global and regional needs Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Highly proficient in English (written and spoken) 7 years' experience in advertising or marketing communications or related field Experience with photo/video shoots, planning and editing Capacity to learn the healthcare market and its products Experience with digital, social media communications programs Experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; ability to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner; ability to deliver messaging effectively verbally and in writing Experience in developing and managing a Marcom budget, soliciting vendor proposals and cost estimates, and tracking and managing costs with vendors. Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
