Our client are one of the north's leading Courier companies, with a really down to earth and friendly presence.Since starting in 2006 they have become one of the region's most trusted courier companies and our distinctive fleet can be seen all over the country. There customers range from some of the UK's leading blue chip companies to small start-ups. As part of our continuing expansion they are looking for experienced sales people to help continue our growth.Role:The role comprises both new business generation and account management, across allocated postcode territories. It combines field sales and office based activity and the role will suit somebody with ambition and determination. You will be coached and mentored by the management team in our proven sales method, while also being given autonomy to develop your own style.You will be expected to grow revenue and profit month on month and be comfortable working within a targeted environment. Somebody with experience of the transport industry is preferable, but not essential, as is proven experience and performance within a competitive commercial environment.You will know how to create leads and generate interest in a product and service, and be comfortable following this through to closure and business generation.Hours:Working hours are 0900-1700 Monday to Friday. Your time will be split between field and office - taking ownership of your workload. You will require a driving licence and your own car, for which you will receive fuel expenses.Location:Office is based at Cheadle, Stockport.Sales territories available including Leeds, Wakefield, Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford, Sheffield, Doncaster, Harrogate & Hull, so please get in touch to discuss geography and locations.£28,000 Base salary with on target commission is an additional £plus there are further bonuses for growing your territory revenue to certain levels, to be discussed.
