Working with this well-run and growing organisation you will be working with the sales team and you will be a key member in a Team managing a £2million spend across a global and diverse supply base.Role & Responsibilities Collecting and analysing schedules and orders so that on time delivery to customer requirements are achieved every time Ordering everything from daily ad-hoc requirements to long lead-time scheduled demand from Far Eastern suppliers Obtaining quotations for new customer enquiries Identifying and introducing new suppliers, to reduce costs and to accommodate sourcing new products Identifying quality and technical standards required for new products, and ensuring that these standards are met Monitoring supplier performance and quality accreditations Reviewing ongoing queries e.g., prices increases and discrepancies Forging lasting relationships with suppliers and customers Liaising with all areas of the company to support and evolve processes Required Skills & Experience Previous MP&L Experience within a Manufacturing environment Working knowledge of the Fasteners Industry and supply chain Understanding of the Automotive Industry Experience using an MRP/ERP System Competence in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Power point This role offers a competitive, negotiable salary as well as a very secure and stable career path.
