An exciting opportunity to become The Head of Savills Client Services, a senior role within the residential business that focuses on client and business development. The position will involve full department management overseeing a team consisting of circa 30 members of staff, generating a significant volume of new business. Key Responsibilities of the Role Client services is an extremely valuable vehicle for growth across our residential, lettings, and RDS businesses and the key responsibilities/tasks will include: • Responsible for a six month, one year, and a three year strategy for the department, including market share, income, and profit• Attract diverse new talent from different sectors and create a high performing, target driven workforce• Produce an annual business plan for your department and individual teams within it• Work closely with the Regional Heads in assisting the delivery of the national strategy• Work closely with marketing to deliver an increased number of market appraisals across all branches• Identify potential new business areas in conjunction with Regional Heads • Unify local business lines and build Savills reputation as the market leader in the local area• Liaise with the Head of Offices on monitoring and assessing local competitor activity and threats• Liaise with Regional Heads on performance, business opportunities, and other relevant employee matters where appropriate• Attend the Residential Operations Board annually by invitation to report on strategy, progress, and innovations• Provide leadership and guidance to members of the team • Monitor the profile of your department and internal relationships • Create a culture of ambition, positivity, and competitive edge throughout the team• Provide general management of the departmental administration and process• Ensure, in conjunction with the Head of Office, that the department is compliant with Health and Safety and all legal, internal and external requirements e.g. ISO, Health and Safety, FSA, Compliance, Estate Agency Act, GDPR, Bribery Act• Assist in producing and accurately reporting team data, figures, and commissions Skills, Knowledge and Experience • Sound knowledge of property technology and be alert to new innovations which may give us the edge against the competition• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong people management skills – can motivate, train, and coach team members• Highly organised with a flexible approach to work• Strong ability to influence and quickly build rapport as well as longstanding relationships• Entrepreneurial – ability to spot opportunities and solve problems• Experience and proven track record in Business Development / Client Services • Strong competence in dealing with figures and strategic plans• Compliance with legal, internal, and external requirements i.e. Health and Safety, FSA, Compliance, Estate Agency Act, GDPR, Bribery Act Assessment applicants can expect during selection • I/2/ stage interview• Leadership Profile
