Principal Consultant - Global Development £45,000-£50,000 per annum Flexible working Hybrid working - London office and remote As the first recruitment agency in the UK to become a certified B Corp, we are part of a global movement using business for good. Specialising in the not for profit sector, we help build inclusive organisations, partnering with clients that are changing the world for individuals, communities and society. Our Global team works in partnership with organisations that are at the cutting edge of addressing some of the world's toughest challenges. Our clients include philanthropic foundations and international NGOs that are headquartered in the UK but deliver programmes globally, typically in Africa and Asia. Although mostly focusing on International Development (i.e. Public Health, Education, Nutrition, Children, Gender), we also work with clients on related issues such as Humanitarian and Climate. We are at an exciting time of expansion and are now looking to recruit a Principal Consultant to join our team. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business to strengthen our position in the UK's International Development sector and build high level relationships with a network of leaders in a broad range of organisations. You'll also manage and develop a portfolio of clients and support them to appoint high calibre individuals to director and chief executive level roles, as well as other technical positions. Our approach is through executive search and so you'll additionally develop strong working relationships with our research team. We're looking for someone that is already in an International Development career, for example in programmes or fundraising, but now looking to do something a bit different. You'll thrive on managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment and will be a strong relationship builder, communicator and listener. If you have experience of recruitment that would be an asset, but it isn't essential as we'll train you in executive search. To be considered, you'll bring experience of living and working in a country or region in Africa or Asia where our clients are programmatically active. A second language is highly desirable but not essential. You'll need to spend time in our office in central London in order to develop client relationships in person, but we are flexible and are open to hybrid working. Our consultants do not work on individual commission; we are driven by outcomes and impact. We offer an attractive salary and an annual company bonus scheme. Our benefits include flexible working, a share option scheme, a matched pension contribution, 28 days annual leave (pro-rated if applicable), wellbeing support and 6 days off a year to volunteer. If you would like a chance to develop your career in a passionate and supportive working environment where development is at the forefront, then please apply with your CV - cover letters are not required at this stage. Prospectus is committed to being a diverse and inclusive place of work and welcomes applications from all backgrounds, particularly underrepresented groups within our organisation including people of colour and people with disabilities. As a Disability Confident employer, we commit to interviewing all candidates with a disability who meet the minimum requirements for the role. Please also contact us if you require any support with submitting your application.
