Trainee Recruitment Consultant Location: Leeds (City Centre) Salary: Competitve with great OTE potenital Package: Commission Scheme uncapped up to 40%, Annual Holiday Incentives (previous years have included Miami, Prague, Las Vegas etc.). New Chapter Consulting is a leading recruiter specialising in the Consumer/FMCG, Engineering & Operations, Retail & Hospitality sectors and we are excited to be recruiting for an Associate Recruitment Consultant to join our Engineering team in Leeds. Sitting in the engineering team, the Associate Consultant will train under an experienced Managing Consultant, working closely to source staff for vacancies in our existing client base. As your knowledge of the sector grows, and as you become more established at New Chapter, you will naturally grow your own client base, while still having access to existing client accounts to supply to. Ideally, it would be great if you had previous experience in a people focused, customer facing or business to business role, resilience is key for this role as is a motivation to succeed. The Role & Responsibilities. • Develop knowledge within the Engineering sector (Skillset & Market Knowledge) • Business development: generate new business, develop current accounts and follow leads. • Account Management: build relationships ensuring you are always your clients first port of call and be an advisor on the Engineering market. • Take job briefs and writing job adverts. • Proactive searches: candidates; database, headhunting, generating referrals, participating in events etc. • Interviews: over the phone and in person, understanding the candidates background and motivations and requirements for a next step and aligning this with your client’s requirement. • Manage the process: arrange interviews and take feedback. • Offer Management: Offer advice to clients and candidates during the offer process. • Work closely with the team to share information and cross sell desks and markets they operate in.
