Early Talent Manager
My client, a leading London-based Accountancy and Business Services Practice now has a fantastic opportunity for an Early Talent Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Please note this role offers hybrid flexible working arrangements with a requirement to attend the central London office on a weekly basis and visit other offices on a regular basis, situated around Greater London. As Early Talent Manager you will play a key role as part of a busy, friendly and supportive People team in leading the strategic development and delivery of Early Talent activities that support the attraction, development and retention of Early Talent. In this hybrid role, focusing primarily on Recruitment and Learning & Development disciplines, you will lead a team of Early Talent Advisers and work closely with the Heads of L&D and HR to deliver a strategic and professional proposition, attracting and recruiting high calibre Early Careers individuals into the organisation and supporting with their learning and development journey. You will also work closely with training/line managers to coach them to effectively manage and support their trainees. Some key activities and scope will include: Supporting and embedding a coherent social mobility and ED&I strategy for the Early Talent population, working alongside the ED&I committee Overseeing the Early Talent Reward strategy and leading on market benchmarking, salary review and promotion processes Overseeing the holistic development journey for the Early Talent population, with the support of the Head of L&D Overseeing the recruitment processes for all those on Early Talent pathways including the design and delivery of assessment centres Raising the profile of the organisation as an employer of choice for Early Talent through attending relevant events Working with professional bodies and training providers to understand the technical and transferable skill requirements and the most suitable study paths for Early Talent populations Overseeing the design and delivery of transferable skills training in conjunction with the Early Talent Advisors Working closely with job-based managers to support the Early Talent L&D journey on-the-job Overseeing the Early Talent training budget, including the apprenticeship levy To be considered you will require: A solid background and interest in the People profession that ideally encompasses experience in a similar Early Talent Management role, or a breadth of generalist HR experience with a particular focus on L&D/OD, Recruitment and Talent Management A demonstrable interest in and awareness of the latest People and Early Talent trends, insights and innovations A progressive and non-bureaucratic approach to People that recognises and embraces that people are individuals Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills with people at all levels together with the confidence to effectively challenge and influence leaders Strong leaderships skills with the ability to lead and inspire a small team A good understanding of the Professional Services/Partnership business environment and sector challenges would be advantageous
