Our client is looking for an operations manager who has excellent food & beverage knowledge for a beautiful hotel in Preston. The hotel has over 50 bedrooms and caters for over 300 events each year which include weddings, parties, conferences, and networking meetings. As the new operations manager you will be in charge over seeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring the hotel premises are well maintained, food and drink service to customers are met to brand standard, communicating with guests to ensure they are having a comfortable stay and working closely with the food & beverage and restaurant management making sure all is running smoothly. You will also oversee training, monitoring, and development of team members ensuring they are achieving their potential and being challenged. Other duties and responsibilities: - Rotas - Maintain accurate records of financial information - Attend regular HOD meetings - Communicate between different departments of the hotel and restaurant - Collect customer feedback - Work closely kitchen team - Organise training days / programs - Stock taking - Inspect hotel and identify any issues or faults - At least 2 years in a similar role - Company benefits - Free parking
