The ideal candidate will live in or near Tunbridge Wells/Maidstone or surrounding area Job Type: Full time, Permanent Days: Monday to Friday Salary: £21,937 Benefits: 28 days annual leave 4 public holidays, company car, private medical cover, life insurance, private pension, staff discounts and more Purpose of Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced barista trainer to join our Training Team on a full-time permanent basis. In your new role as Barista Trainer, you will visit our customer's retail sites to analyse training needs, offer coaching and training support and help drive standards and quality to improve audit results and sales. You will have responsibility and accountability for carrying out coffee quality checks as well as delivering barista training to the staff on site. You will meet the training needs in line with the contracted terms, scheduling your time for planned and reactive training requirements. As part of this team you would be required to: Deliver training sessions of all levels at customer sites and in customer or Matthew Algie training centres Audit area accounts each quarter to monitor progress & assess training needs in line with the brand standards Deliver and evaluate external & internal training Manage training requirements within designated area Evaluate own performance to continually improve customer & colleague support Desire to continually develop coffee knowledge & share with others Act as an ambassador for the department and companyExperience: Essential Relevant experience in a hospitality environment Full valid UK drivers licence with post-pass driving experience Experience of administration, planning and organisation Experience of working as a baristaDesirable: Experience in retail sector Experience in multi-site organisation or field-based role Experience in a similar role as a senior barista or barista trainerSkills / Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to build rapport with customers and colleagues across the organisation Good written and oral communication skills Computer Literate including use of word, power point, outlook, email and basic excel Excellent planning and organisation skills to manage own workload to expected standards Ability to deliver creative and engaging training sessions Ability to identify different learning styles and adapt training to meet the needs of all trainees Ability to demonstrate strong barista skills and efficiency Good attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow direction and work within agreed parameters Good listening skills Personal Attributes: Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and customer timeframes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the team and the customer Ability to handle work-based challenges, respond to last minute requests and problem solve Punctual A strong work ethic Resilience - able to respond professionally and courteously to customer complaints while remaining composed Personal motivation and enthusiasm Application If this sounds like you, then you could be the right fit for us Please click APPLY, upload your CV and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.
