Engineering Planner Grangemouth Permanent Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be supporting our Manufacturing client for the next stage to their Engineering plans with the recruitment of an Engineering Planner to join their expanding Engineering Team. As the Engineering Planner you will play a core part of the Engineering Team and be responsible for engineering work, planning & control across all assets on site. You will deliver, install and manage the CMMS system whilst ensuring planning of all resources across the plant. The CMMS system will capture all the sites assets and work tasks and ensure compliance and maintenance works are fully captured and managed effectively. You will ensure effective management of the engineering stores ensuring parts are procured and available to meet both reactive & maintenance works on site. What’s in it for you? Opportunity to work with an innovative, growing, worldwide organisation Training opportunities Excellent package Onsite parking Hours of work 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri The Role: The Engineering Planner will cover the following main areas: Asset Management & Stores System Ownership, management, development and implementation of CMMS Management of work orders, PPM schedules, assets and inventory levels Planning PPM’s via CMMS Planning compliance via CMMS Ensuring maintenance of stock levels Management of safe working Relationship Management Managing key relationships with suppliers & contractors Managing internal relationships Reporting Set up and deliver engineering planning processes and reports Driving improvements in data quality Optimisation of maintenance delivery and reduction of operating costs Recommendation of engineering improvements Conducting root cause analysis on failures and identify future changes Budgeting Monitor and record asset spend across various cost centres Develop store stock cost centres Maintain budget records Assist with budget reviews Skills required: HNC/HND in an Engineering Discipline or similar Experienced working within an Engineering and Manufacturing environment Strong continuous improvement knowledge & experience in PPM schedules, engineering strategies and equipment effectiveness Experienced in supplier management with strong negotiating skills Previous CMMS reporting experience Excellent communication & problem-solving skills Excellent planning & organisational skills Interested?
