ESL is a well-established company specialising in the automatic/commercial door, window and security industry throughout London and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on efficient service and customers individual requirements are paramount. We are currently looking for a London-based, experienced automatic door engineer to join our installation and service team. Please note our main office is based in WC1 and our workshop facilities in W7 but you will need a full UK driving license to travel to sites (mostly within the M25 and City). Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Installation, servicing, maintaining and repairing of types of automatic and commercial door systems. Electrical and mechanical fault finding. Building good working relationships with clients Assisting clients with any queries they may have Delivering excellent customer service Assisting with the ordering of materials and maintenance of stock levels Communicating the status of jobs to colleagues and managers Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures Ensuring the correct storage of materials and maintain good housekeeping of equipment Ensuring Company vehicles and workshop storage areas are kept clean and tidy, in line with safety regulations Ensuring awareness of health and safety policies and procedure including protective equipment and clothing Managing quality control of workload. Completing and submitting paperwork in a timely and accurate manner on completing works. Role & Responsibilities: To undertake installation and servicing of automatic doors, sliding doors etc To liaise with our clients and office team to ensure the smooth running of contracts. Carry out reactive and planned repairs of both automated and manual pedestrian doors. Carry out on site surveys for automatic doors, manual doors, repairs etc. A flexible approach to your working hours will be required.
