They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver. We are looking for a senior/principal process engineer with extensive experience in energy transition industries. The engineer would be required to utilise their expansive knowledge in all areas of design from conceptual studies to detailed engineering. The engineer should have a proven track record in the area and will be recognised for their understanding of the key process concepts as well as having a good understanding of developing technical / market trends and client requirements. The engineer will be required to support business development and develop proposals so should be current with market developments. Their previous experience will mean that they are familiar with standard process deliverables such as design basis, H&MB, PFDs, process descriptions, P&IDs etc and would be comfortable both originating as well as approving these documents. Simulation experience is highly desirable and experience in multiple software (Hysys, Pro II, Unisim, Promax) will be an advantage. Licensor selection experience is also advantage as well as master plan development. Role Overview Executes process deliverables according to a set engineering design criteria utilising approved engineering procedures, practices, and codes and standards. Prepares, coordinates, and reviews designs, studies, reports and proposals. Be current with market developments and support the identification, pursuit and award of study and other front end opportunities. Takes the initiative to coordinate the design development with other engineering disciplines while managing workload and meeting schedule due dates. Substantial experience is required in at least one of the following industries/unit operations: Hydrogen production Syngas gasification CO2 recovery processes Carbon capture and storage/reuse Refining of bio derived oils Bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) Ammonia production Preferred Experience Specific experience in planning and executing greenfield or brownfield projects in one or more of the following market segments: • Natural gas processing including liquefaction and regasification • Coal, gas or biomass to chemicals such as methanol and ammonia • Petrochemicals such as HDPE, LDPE, MEG, PET, PTA, PVC and others • Carbon capture and sequestration • Solar and/or combined cycle power plants • Hydrogen value chain including reforming, liquefaction, transportation and fueling stations • Offshore and onshore pipelines • Desalination, raw water, demineralized water and waste water treatment plants • Familiarity with current process technologies and licensors associated with the above.
