What you will be doing Based in Central Thames Valley, as the Technical Co-ordinator, you’ll effectively deploy the sampling field team to ensure the sampling programme requirements are met. Answering requests from Customer Service Water Quality and Regulatory Response teams, you’ll ensure that the Water Quality Technicians are dealing with customer complaints, customer enquiries as well as technical enquiries in a timely fashion. An excellent appreciation and comprehension of the regulations that govern the statutory clean sampling programmes are key in this role and you’ll be an expert in the fieldwork carried out, the processes sampled and will assist field operatives as needed. We’re looking for you to: Have an excellent appreciation of the clean regulations, statutory and operational programmes Be adept in clean water sampling and the relevant regulations Take ownership of customer queries, being curious to fully understand the query and identify the best solution to resolve it the first time Have a strong understanding of the Water Quality Management System Be IT literate and able to learn new software quickly Deliver exceptional customer service through a passionate and positive approach, taking accountability for your role while working accurately and flexibly within a busy team Have excellent communication and social skills, to clearly interact with our customers Work effectively under pressure to meet demanding targets Have a scientific background with the ability to understand the technical nature of the work Have a full driving licence as you will be travelling Take part in the out of hours rotaWhat’s in it for you?
