TRAINEE COMMERCIAL GAS SERVICE ENGINEER - £25,000 BASIC (DOE) Door to Door Travel paid from home to site Company Van (can also be used for personal use) Fuel Card Private Health Scheme 23 Days Hols and all stats Pension Sick Pay Uniform Tools Kit Overtime at time and a half then double time Permanent - Monday to Friday Covering - St Albans / Watford and surrounding areas Company My client is a successful spraybooth manufacturing and design company who deliver fantastic performance, efficiency and highly innovative spraybooth solutions across a wide range of industries such as; aerospace, automotive, commercial, industrial and manufacturing. Due to their continued success and expansion, they are now seeking a Trainee Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join their dynamic team and their expanding business. There is also excellent career progression based on performance. Role Working as a trainee commercial gas service engineer travelling to various customers with other engineers and assisting with: Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs where necessary on different Spraybooth machines Completing filter changes, working on compressors and pipework Attending breakdowns and completing repairs on a wide range of spraybooth units Working on Riello burners as well as other similar burners and completing various commercial gas engineer works Completing fault finding/diagnosis on equipment Completing electrical and mechanical duties on the various spraybooth units Ensuring at all times that you are working within full compliance of all relevant legislations Customer facing and relationship building on site Ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally aware manner Requirements A good level of fitness and the ability to work at heights Must have a full driving licence and the ability to travel Must be Gas Safe Registered ideally with; CoNGLP1 PD, COCN 1, CIGA 1, CDGA 1 accreditations Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering background required Experience on gas/oil burners a distinct advantage A self-motivated and innovative individual required Ability to use initiative and excellent customer liaison skills required.
