DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Project Management Team you are responsible for leading the completions work scope of multiple projects within the Gas Transmission and Distribution sector. Be responsible for implementing robust training for users, data input quality, and user uptake and use of the Completions Management System. Work closely with site quality management teams, and ensure handovers, ITPS and work aligns with the AP gated handover process Provide Completions input into the Project strategies, procedures, design phase, plans and schedules. Interface with Project Management and Client representatives on all matters applicable to Completions activities, providing accurate reporting on status including identification of issues or concerns, which may affect Project delivery. Ensure that all Completions work is to the required standard and that all drawings, specifications, inspections, certifications, and Company systems of quality assurance are strictly adhered to and assist the Project quality team in the completion of site system test sheets and the test dossier. Liaise with the Engineering and Design team to ensure P&ID's and other drawings are produced in line with Completions requirements. Development of project handover strategy’s and sequences Prepare Limits of system handover Input into the project planning and programmes Monitor and report progress on a regular basis – daily / weekly / monthly. Liaise with Project personnel to identify and deliver early Completions / Project gains. Manage and support day-to-day Completions activities / personnel in the safe and structured delivery of the work scope and processes, ensuring all applicable site / Project safety procedures are fully implemented and adhered to. Coordinate the delivery of handover data books to client standards and specifications at the end of each project. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as a Completions Engineer, in multi-discipline projects, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving Project goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times. Knowledge of EC&I and Automation is preferred, but you also have a sound knowledge of the other disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping and Process) Knowledge of the Commissioning / Completions process, its implementation and management. Fully conversant with Project management tools. Detailed knowledge of the Completions process and associated systems. Detailed knowledge of Permit to Work systems. HNC / HND in an Engineering related subject or trade apprenticeship with appropriate technical qualification Recognised site discipline background Knowledge of construction practices and procedures Result oriented. You are only satisfied after your activities are accepted by the client, you delivered top quality and the client is very satisfied with the performance of you and your team You plan and organise your activities before you allow your team to start spending hours.
