This leading international FMCG organisation manufacturing cosmetic and pharmaceutical products are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to become part of their proactive, strong, and knowledgeable team who offer a range of solutions to suit their customers' needs and requirements. This includes the 'full service' of delivering a client brief from product concept through testing, manufacture and finally packing of the completed product. The Maintenance Engineer will take ownership for the efficient repair and improvement of equipment, planned and non-planned activities to maximise plant capability. This Maintenance Engineer position is a permanent placement working a Double Days shift pattern of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, offering a salary of £40,000 (dependent on experience). Accountabilities of the Maintenance Engineer: Responsible for delivering line OEE by providing proactive support and applying specialist knowledge in the event of plant failure. Undertake major equipment overhauls to ensure equipment performs to the required OEM standards, continuously improving and delivering strategy. Delivery of key projects across our business. Work in Pharma production to ensure plant/equipment breakdowns are repaired in an efficient, timely and cost effective way. Carry out scheduled PPM tasks and fault reporting. Ensure records comply with current legislation, safety, quality and administrative standards and procedures. The successful Maintenance Engineer will possess experience in the FMCG/Pharma industry working with QMS or will have a HACCP accredited training qualification. Additional qualifications such as HNC/HND are desirable. Demonstrable knowledge of key plant and equipment or specialist in a discipline i.e. PLC's, Instrumentation, pneumatics, process systems would be beneficial.
