Job Profile - The company is looking for someone to join their Test and Inspection division, and getting involved in the Test and Inspection. Job Title: Test and Inspection Engineer Product Inspection Location - Kent Salary - £28,000 to £42,000 per annum, depending on previous experience. POSITION OVERVIEW To book in, carry out, and report on the inspection and measurement of Engineering Samples for EOS Flows 2-4-5 programmes. Support continuous improvement ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Support continuous improvement opportunities Ensure EH&S and QMS conformance Ensure risk escalation is correctly executed. Carry out Engineering sample inspection & measurement activities (Pre and post validation) Produce required output (i.e. report/dataset) SKILLS Use of specialised lab inspection equipment (e.g. Optical / Digital microscope) Use of specialised lab measurement equipment (e.g. Zygo, Talysurf, TalyRond, Alicona) Use of specialised lab testing equipment Software skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) Knowledge of Engines EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ONC/HNC/Degree or other equivalent Engineering qualification in a relevant sector. Experience as Technican in a similar role/relevant engineering sector. Experience of managing a large number of tasks in parallel. Experience of using Inspection equipment. Knowledge of Diesel CR systems, test environments or Diesel engines.
