Project Coordinator, £35,000 - £50,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (9am – 5pm) Based near Basildon, however site travel in and around London required This interesting opportunity has arisen for a Project Coordinator to join our clients’ busy team. If you enjoy a varied role within fabrication and installation, and you have previous project management and coordination experience we would love to hear from you. As the Project Coordinator you will be: Manage the project from start to finish; Ensuring that all paperwork is complete and filed. Arrange handovers with the sales department on site and to be introduced to the client. Check that fabrication drawings and service drawings have been produced and that the fabrication drawings have been signed by the client. Receive purchase orders from Purchasing as the project progresses. Site dimensions are to be taken at the earliest possible opportunity and passed to design (project and fabrication) for manufacturer. Responsible for onsite labourers Liaising with the client on a regular basis during all stages of the project Checking that the drawing meets the requirements of the equipment to be installed. Where applicable, the Project Co-Ordinator must attend any site service or project meetings as requested by the client or representative. On larger projects the Project Co-Ordinator will arrange a regular project meetings and minutes taken and issued to Contracts Administrator and Senior Project Co-Ordinator. The Project Co-Ordinator is to arrange meeting on site with sub-contractors and engineers to ensure their understanding of all requirements. The Project Co-Ordinator must ensure that labour and deliveries are organised at the earliest opportunity and booked in the diary. Quality Control of company manufactured fabrication It is the Project Co-Ordinators responsibility to ensure that all installed equipment that requires and asset label, has a completed test and commissioning sheet signed by the installing engineer. The Project Co-Ordinator must attend site through all aspects of delivery and installation. On delivery, any items found to be damaged must be notified immediately to the supplier by the Project Co-Ordinator. Prior to the completion of a project, the Project Co-Ordinator should agree a date and times for staff training. All snagging and defect must be completed as the project progresses. Project Co-Ordinator is responsible to collect and collate as test certificates. They are to ensure they are fully completed, signed by the engineers, and inserted into the yellow project file. Weekly Requirements Project Co-Ordinator must attend the weekly projects meeting in the office. Vehicle mileage logs must be completed and handed to Office Manager along with fuel receipts to cover private mileage.
